Business Procedures & Professional Ethics

Your success after graduation is of extreme importance to us. Business Procedures & Professional Ethics classes help to prepare students for a broad range of employment opportunities. Information on business procedures, including licensing, accounting, insurance reimbursement, and various marketing strategies are presented.

Graduates have an opportunity to build their clientele working in our Student Clinic. When they are confident and ready to move on to a new treatment setting, we encourage them to provide their repeat clients with the information they need to continue their therapeutic relationship. Being that we are one of the oldest Natural Therapeutics and Massage Therapy schools in the country, we have graduate therapists all over who are often looking to rent space or open their practice to graduates of The New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics.

Introduction to Core Synschronism

Core Synchronism is a system of hand medicine designed to assist nature in establishing harmony with all parts of the organism.

In the Core Synchronism model, the human organism is comprised of the mental/emotional, etheric and physical bodies* and is animated by the core current.

The core current can be palpated on the crown of the head, and with practice everywhere in the organism. The current is responsible for the movement of cerebrospinal fluid out of the brain.

Pain is the result of a body part (mental/emotional, etheric, physical) being out of synch with the core current and cerebrospinal fluid. Disharmonious motion causes friction, which produces inflammation, which then results in pain or discomfort.

By reestablishing synchronistic balance with the core current, cerebrospinal fluid and the dyssynchronistic body part —through palpation and focused intent— harmony is restored to the organism thus breaking the pain-discomfort cycle.

Core Synchronism is not pathology specific. It is a mechanical system designed to restore harmony to the organism. Establishing balance results in activating an individual’s self-healing ability.

Core Synchronism is deeply relaxing, safe, and gentle, hence there are no contraindications for treatment.

Reflexology

When people hear of Foot Reflexology, they generally think of a “foot massage” and very often fail to realize the depth of the effects to be achieved through this ancient bodywork technique. In an effort to protect our vital organs, our being’s intelligence stores indigestible matter as far away as possible… in our feet. This accumulated “morbidity” diminishes circulation and other body functions long before symptoms present themselves in the corresponding organ/organs. Using deep (Tamasic) stimulation on specific reflexes of the feet, Foot Reflexology helps to improve the function of corresponding organs, connective tissue, bony structure, body systems, and energetic pathways. Reflexology has been used to reduce stress through relaxation. Our instruction details how the feet are mapped out in relation to the body and then integrates this system with Polarity Therapy, making Foot Reflexology a more dynamic and effective modality.
