Practicing Confidentiality* – 2 CEU’s
Confidentiality is an important ethical concept that needs to be implemented daily in our practice. We will define confidentiality, discuss its limits, review privacy practices based on HIPAA guidelines, and discuss proper verbal and electronic confidentiality practices. Case discussions will include working with couples and families, ill clients, dual relationships and privacy in various practice settings.
2 Ethics CE’s Friday, 3/4/16 1pm -3pm at NMSNT
Scope of Practice – 2 CEU’s
The plethora of research into the unity of body, mind and emotions makes it difficult to find the line between bodywork and emotional issues. Through group discussion and case examples, we will clarify the boundary between counseling and bodywork and provide clear guidelines on following our scope of practice as outlined in state and national regulations.
