Class Description: Communication is the glue that holds out therapeutic relationships together. This workshop addresses all forms of communication – verbal, nonverbal, physical and written, and will focus on intake, policies, phone etiquette, boundary setting, confidentiality, rapport building and working with clients in non-ordinary states of consciousness.
Certification Requirements: You must be in attendance for the entire class to earn a Certificate of Completion. Certificates will be awarded for 4 CEs. The workshops meet both New Mexico and NCBTMB Continuing Education requirements. There will be a $5 fee for replacing lost certificates.

Workshop Cancellation Policy: 90% refund up to 2 weeks before the workshop. 50% refund thereafter until 5 days prior to workshop. No refund if you cancel less than 5 days before the workshop. Instructor may cancel a workshop due to insufficient registration.
Bhanu Joy Harrison, LCSW, SEP, LMT, is a clinical social worker, a registered massage therapy instructor (#I-64), a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and a licensed massage therapist (#105).She has been an instructor at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics since 1985 and currently teaches Professional Ethics, Body-Centered Emotional Support Skills, and Women’s Issues. Bhanu is also a UCLA Trained Mindfulness Facilitator and teaches mindfulness classes. She is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider ##419781-00.
