Assistant Instructor of Swedish Massage; Remedy Store Staff
I completed the Day Program in August of 2005. Post-graduation, I worked with another former graduate for two years and then began working for New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics Student Clinic in 2007. I am now also a teaching assistant for the Day Program Swedish Massage and Hot Stone Massage classes.
After attending UNM for a short time, I knew what I really wanted was to study massage therapy. I visited all the schools in Albuquerque and felt immediately welcome and supported by the staff here at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics. They weren’t only interested in my financial situation, but wanted to see what schedule would work for me and to show me everything they had to offer. I also liked that the curriculum went beyond Massage Therapy and covered the Natural Therapeutics aspect in a well-rounded way.
I currently have my own practice here in Albuquerque. I enjoy working with Swedish Massage, Medical Massage, Pregnancy Massage, and Colon Hydrotherapy. I love animals and plants—I’ve made it my personal mission to keep the plants here in the clinic happy and healthy. In my free time, I make jam and soap.
