Instructor of Swedish Massage, Ethics & Emotional Support Skills
Robin graduated from The New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics in 1998 and teaches Swedish Massage and Ethics & Emotional Support Skills in the Morning Program. He is licensed as both a Massage Therapist and a Counselor, and has a private practice in which he combines bodywork and psychotherapy. A graduate of Southwestern College in Santa Fe, he has trained in Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing and Sharon Stanley’s Somatic Transformation. He treats adults and adolescents for both relational and shock trauma, helping them to re-establish a sense of safety and self-worth in their bodies. Prior to his life as a bodyworker and counselor, Robin taught college English courses at the University of New Mexico and coordinated a program to recruit under-represented minorities to the UNM School of Medicine. He continues to enjoy his training and teaching at NMSNT for its diversity of curriculum and student body.
