Instructor of Swedish Massage and Shiatsu
When did you graduate from NMSNT?
August 5th 2005
What other academic/professional experience do you have?
Academic: High School diploma, studied electronics at a Community College.
Professional: worked for Disneyland Resort for 18 years. In that time I helped open a themed amusement park “Disney’s California Adventure”, worked on a variety of attractions in both Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure, wrote operating guideline manuals for a couple of attractions. I was also a shop steward for the Teamster’s Union for a few years while I worked in Disney’s California Adventure.
What is your approach to bodywork?
My approach is one of openness. I try to be open to all possibilities. Dr Randolph Stone believed that only God and nature heal, this I too believe, wholeheartedly. Relaxation is when this type of healing can happen; therefore my goal is to allow my clients to relax to whatever level they are ready and willing to relax into. I will walk upon any road with any soul if it will assist them on their journey home.
Why do you enjoy teaching?
This work, I believe, is important in today’s health of the individual and the masses; and to have Natural Therapeutic Specialists available to the people, that can’t be all that bad. I love being a part of that process.
