Description: Our integrated Anatomy & Physiology course is specifically designed for Massage Therapy and Natural Therapeutics practitioners. It includes a thorough examination how the body system’s function in relation to each other and as a whole. Carol Thornton and Emily Cooney present the material in way that is easy for students of all education levels to comprehend. They use lecture, accompanied with hands-on palpation, which enables students to fully integrate the material. Emphasis is placed upon the understanding of word parts, muscles, bones, nerves, and the functioning of the¬†human structure. Material that is taught enables a bodyworker to effectively practice their therapeutic art. Pathology and Kinesiology, non-specific stretches are included.
